Drip Machine: how to brew it
Auto drip machine
For an automatic filter coffee machine.
Written for a washed, medium-roast arabica. Open this from one of our coffees and the numbers change to suit it.
- Coffee
- 60 g
- Water
- 1000 ml about 4¼ cups
That is a ratio of 1:17, if you would rather scale it.
- Use 60 g of coffee to a litre of water.
- Level the bed in the basket before you start it.
- Take the jug off the hotplate once it has finished.
- It is ground for this brewer already. If it runs through too fast, use a little more coffee rather than reaching for a finer grind.
- The machine heats its own water, so the temperature is not yours to set.
